Services:
Assisting clients with locating information to begin or complete ones family history, locate missing family ancestors utilising many resources I have available. I consolidate family historical information into a logical format and present such findings in a report format or in a bound book format. I focus primarily my research on official documentation (vital records, immigration, probate, census, directories, military etc.) and attempt to validate what information, if any, is provided by the client.
Biography:
I have had experience in genealogy since 1999, when I completed my own family history research and once I received my Diploma in Family Historical Studies in 2009, developed my own business (Ancestral Research Services of Tasmania, ( https://ancestralresearchtasmania.com.au )). I then began to assist others with their family history enquires. I have much experience in all states within Australia, especially Tasmania, Victoria and New South Wales as well as New Zealand, United States, Canada, England, Wales, and Scotland. I am very qualified in research as I worked in the US for 7 years in oceanographic research, as well as in Australia working for various companies where organised research and methodology was required. I also have a keen interest in photographing and documenting my flora and fauna sightings and currently collect and photograph specimens for the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery’s Moth collection.
