My area of interest involves locating family history records in Queensland.
These records may include obituaries, or birth, death and marriage notices, or interesting newspaper articles that provide depth to the stories of ancestors who lived and died in Queensland.
It’s always exciting to discover information on characters that may have been born overseas but spent most of their lives in the Sunshine State.
My experience is finding family history information from sources such as the National Library of Australia, Australian War Memorial, National Archives of Australia, Australian Electoral Rolls, as well as an understanding of Births, Deaths & Marriages index records in Queensland.
